500 pathways to be repaired before the rains

As per the information received from BMC, action is being taken against the contractors responsible for the loopholes in the repair works of the city's roads.  BMC asserts that all 448 roads will be repaired till 15 May.

After receiving an approval for the redevelopment of the roads in ‘M/East/’ ‘S’ ‘T’ and ‘S Auc T’ wards, Asif Zakaria of the City Worker Congress alleged that the contractors are being bribed with money. At the same time, Ravi Raja, the opposition leader of BMC, has demanded that a report detailing the works of the contractors be presented before the standing committee.
