55-Year-Old Mumbai Man Sustain Fracture During Trek At Visapur Fort

As a group of trekkers visited the Visapur Fort, one of the popular holiday destinations near Lonavala, on weekend, it has come to light that a 55-year-old man from Mumbai suffered a fracture to his left thigh after he slipped and fell down.

As a group of trekkers visited the Visapur Fort, one of the popular holiday destinations near Lonavala, on Saturday, September 24, it has come to light that a 55-year-old man from Mumbai suffered a fracture to his left thigh after he slipped and fell down while climbing down.

Officials stated that 15 employees of a Mumbai-based company had visited the Fort. They had gone to the top of the fort by noon. While climbing down, one of them slipped, and his left thigh suffered a fracture.

A Shivdurga Mitra team from Lonavala safely brought the man down from the fort and sent him to a hospital.

A team member shared that the man was unable to move. They got the information about the accident around 3 pm and the 15-member team immediately rushed towards the fort.

After climbing for about two hours, the team reached the spot where the injured man and his colleagues were waiting. They then tied the man to a stretcher and safely brought him down within two hours. The injured man’s colleagues took him to a hospital, the team memeber added.

For those unversed, the Visapur Fort is located near Malavali, which is about 65km from the city.
