Aarey Colony - What happens when you are devoid of your basic amenities, you are bound to crumble. This is the scenario of tribe residing in Aarey colony. Tribes of 27 colonies are living in this area from past many years. Impure drinking water, bad roads during rainy season and no public toilets. People are defecating in open and we are talking about Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, first and foremost we must provide them with basic facilities. Residents have reported their numerous problems to BMC, corporators and MLAs. They also wrote letter to Chief Minister, but it seems everyone has gone blind. Hope if our leaders are man enough they should not come in Aarey for votes cause they don't deserve it.
