In 2015, the residents of the Shivaji Park area have established Advance Locality Management (ALM) with the help of the Municipal Corporation to keep its premises clean and green.

There are 22 buildings in this area. There are about 450 homes in it. About 27 acres of open ground in Shivaji Park has an open field. There is tremendous dust on the field. Local residents have complained that they are having trouble. Members of the ALM met Vishakha Raut, the corporator, to discuss how to fix it and make the area clean and green.

BMC sprayed water on 14% land of the open field which cost them whopping Rs 40 lakhs. But the rest of the ground is covered with dust. That is why many local people are having trouble stated ALM Volunteer Linesh Dhuleshchar.

In this regard, the Assistant Commissioner of Police has informed about this. An attempt will be made to resolve the problem by meeting with the municipal officials next week. Apart from this, in order to maintain cleanliness inside Shivaji Park, the Municipal Corporation will issue a clean chit to the workers, and also administer the mosquitoes empire in the area, fogging on it, and addressing administration issues to tackle problems related to parking problems.
