Chembur – Anganwadi workers carried out a protest at Chembur’s anganwadi centre on Wednesday. They protested and demanded central government to make provisions in budget 2017 for anganwadi workers.
According to the workers, their salary has not been raised in the last three years. They want salary hike and government to fill up the pending posts as soon as possible.
A large number of anganwadi workers participated in the protest.
