Thane Municipal Corporation's own plan and M/S STEM Authority will take 24 hours shutdown from 9:00 am on Friday 08/09/2023 to 9:00 am on Saturday 09/09/2023 for essential and urgent maintenance and repair work. As a result, during this shutdown period, the water supply will be completely shut down for 24 hours in some parts of Ghodbunder Road, Lokmanyanagar, Vartak Nagar, Saket, Ritu Park, Jail, Gandhinagar, Rustamji, Indiranagar, Rupadevi, Srinagar, Samtanagar, Siddheshwar, Eternity, Johnson, Mumbra and Kalwa.

Due to the above shutdown, there is a possibility of low pressure water supply for the next 1 to 2 days till the water supply is restored. However, the water supply department of the Thane Municipal Corporation has appealed to the citizens to keep a proper stock of water and cooperate with the Thane Municipal Corporation.
