Sai devotees who are planning to visit Shirdi on May 1 on the account of Labour Day and Maharashtra Day, will have to change their plans, as an indefinite shutdown has been called in Shirdi from May 1.


CISF security will now be provided for security at Shirdi's Sai Temple. Villagers along with all parties have called an indefinite strike against the CISF security believing that if this security comes, the villagers may suffer. At present, the Sansthan's own security guards and Maharashtra Police security guards are stationed at the Sai Temple in Shirdi. In addition to this, CISF security will be stationed. It is believed that the villagers may suffer due to this security.

Hence, on Wednesday, the villagers held a meeting with all the parties. An indefinite strike has been called in this meeting. During the strike, Sai temple, darshan arrangement, accommodation arrangement of Sai Sansthan, food arrangement will continue. However, since Shirdi is closed, devotees may be deprived of other facilities including transport.
