Mumbai - Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) budget 2017-18 is announced. Dr. Jagdish Patil presented the budget in BEST Committee's meeting scheduled on Wednesday.

- Rs 6,551 Crore - Total purse
- Rs 565.74 crore deficit Budget
- Automatic power distribution system proposed in the 550 sub-centers
- Automatic distribution system in control rooms in Dadar and 183 sub-centres
- 100 crore for redevelopment of each bus depot
- Bathroom Facilities at E - cash centres and Bus outposts
- 100 Crore in three-step for depot 3 yrs old
- Refabrication of Double-decker Seats
