On Wednesday, the BEST bus accident took place in Bhandup West, resulting in the death of a senior citizen and the injury of two others, cite reports.

According to reports, the senior citizen who departed was recognized as a 70-year-old Pundlik Bhagat.

The said accident occurred on Wednesday morning at Bhandup West’s Ashok Kedar Chowk. As mentioned above, two were also injured whose names have been reported as Ravindra Tiwari and Mukhesh Upadhyay who are 65 and 44 years old respectively.

When the incident occurred, the bus was plying from Tembhipada to Bhandup railway station in the west.

Based on some accounts, the driver lost control of the bus and rammed the vehicle into an electric meter that was in a cabin form of a chawl. At the same time, the bus also dashed into an autorickshaw that was coming from the opposite direction. In the midst of all this, a pedestrian was also hurt who got grievous injuries on his head and right hand. With the assistance of the police and an ambulance, he was sent to Agrawal Hospital in Mulund, elaborated accounts.

However, before being admitted he was declared deceased. The others injured were treated and eventually sent home.
