Former Argentine footballer Diego Maradona died of a heart attack on November 25 at the age of 60. His demise came as a big shock to all. Maradona will forever be known for his "Hand of God" goal against England in the 1986 World Cup quarter-final in Mexico when he appeared to use his hand to push the ball into the net before later swerving through the English defenders for a memorable second goal that sealed the victory.

Kapil Dev, who was the captain of the Indian team in 1983, when India lifted its first world cup, had suffered a heart attack in October. He is now doing better and said to be in better health.



Veteran playback singer SP Balasubramaniam passed away on September 25, 2020, at a Chennai hospital. He was 74. Balasubramaniam, popularly known as SPB, was admitted to MGM Healthcare on August 5 after testing positive for COVID-19. He was on life support for a few days before his demise.
