Kurar - Corporator Rupali Raorane along with her workers protested outside the BMC office on Thursday. The protest was carried out to support Kurar residents who are facing a tough time due to heap of waste amassed near Shantaram Talao Subway road. Residents reported the matter to the lady corporator to which she questioned BMC Joint Commissioner Sangeeta Hasnale asking her to take quick action. Protesting with Corporator were Mumbai Women Secretary Sanika Shirgaonkar, Dindoshi Taluka President Prashant Gholap, Women President Jayshree Pednekar, Rashmi More, Meenakshi Rakhde and Kalpana Gholap. In the wake of protest, BMC workers were seen cleaning the waste and dumping it.
