Mumbai- Apparently BMC has chosen tainted contractors to carry out road repairs on 305 roads. In total there are 16 blacklisted contractors. These contractors duped BMC of Rs. 572 crores and are under investigation. Despite this they were appointed for road repairs. It seems BMC is hastily carrying out road repairs to woo the voters prior to the civic elections and are least bothered about contractors.
