Kandivali- Following the Supreme Court orders, R- Ward took action against illegal hawkers. Kandivali's Mathuradas road which was taken over by hawkers were kicked off by civic officials. Residents who were angry with the hawker's menace, welcomed the civic officials move. However, Akhilesh Gaud, from hawkers community, blamed the officials of breaching SC order by manhandling them.
