Borivali- BMC started demolition drive in R/Central ward Chikuwadi premise, Borivali (West) on 24 December. Food market was demolished by the municipal workers, these stalls were unauthorised. In presence of huge police bandobast this demolition drive was initiated.
Meanwhile a female constable was injured in the fight that took place between the cops and the traders in the area. Traders started throwing stones at cops. Injured constable was admitted to Shatabdi Hospital, Kandivali.
