BMC carried out demolition drive on the Madarsa in Shivaji Nagar, Borivali on 4 March. The members of the mosque have alleged BJP Corporator Harish Chheda of complaining about the mosque to the civic body.
The structure of Madarsa-e-Arabia-Islamia is very old and is in fix. The rooftop of the madarsa is in the dilapidated state.
Due to which the rooftop was changed and repaired. Regardless of all, BMC did send notice to Madarsa on 3 March. The answer to the notice sent by BMC was given back by the advocate who was dealing the case of Madarsa.
