Govandi- Civic officials of M ward demolished 20 hutments at Deonar’s Rafique Nagar. Five days back, they issued a notice to vacate the slums but many of them did not vacate and had no legal documents. Meanwhile, those who had proper documents will be given alternative place to stay.
This is been done to make a way for nullah widening project. M ward is planning to widen total 15 nullahs, for which they will be demolishing hutments.
