Currey Road - Recycling waste management scheme has been originated in F/South ward buildings 'Vighnaharta' on Mahadev Palav Marg and 'Ashoka Garden' in Sewri near Currey road station.
BMC started this scheme and as per statistics regularly 1 lakh litre water is recycled. Meanwhile, in Ashoka Garden which has 435 flats, waste management scheme has kickstarted. F/South Ward's Assistant Commissioner Vishwas Mote told Mumbai Live," Residents are giving full support from their ends."
This scheme has been started to produce organic manure which will be beneficial for farming.
