BMC stays away from road work proposals
Mumbai - The BMC standing committee has rejected the proposals of road work contracts which were allegedly pushed in by the administration to help the contractors. As all the committee members alleged that corruption took place in the road works, total seven proposals were kept on hold in the committee meeting held on Tuesday. As many as 112 development proposals were put up before the standing committee for its nod. As the members raised doubts over the intention of the administration in getting these proposals green signal from the committee, chairman Yashodhar Phanse recorded these proposals.
