Mumbai- Solid Waste Department’s 190 workers have been suspended by the BMC as they refused to vacate their place. For the last six months, these workers have neither got their salary nor diwali bonus. All party’s corporator took up this issue during Standing Committee Meeting on Friday and asked to reinstate the workers. Likewise, BMC’s deputy Commissioner Sanjay Mukherjee assured of investigating the matter. Suspended workers consist of Kurla’s 120 workers and 70 workers of Vikhroli.
