A four-storey building collapsed at KGN Chowk, Nai Basti, Bhiwandi at around 8:30 am on Friday. There’s an ongoing rescue operation by the police and fire brigade where reports suggest that people have been injured and three people have lost their lives.

Six people have been rescued while there are more people trapped under the debris.
Recently, many such cases have come to light where old constructions have crumbled. The most recent being the building collapse in Bhendi Bazaar and Ghatkopar.
