Mumbai: Several Vehicles Trapped After 3-Storey Building Collapses In Borivali

According to latest report, a portion of a three-storey building collapsed in Wazira Naka area of Borivali today, October 28. While, no injuries were reported, four to five vehicles parked were trapped underneath.

The incident took place around 1 pm when the structure was being pulled down at Kamala Residency building located on L T Road in Vazira Naka area of Borivali West.

Officials clarified that it happened when the building was being demolished. Some portion of it fell on the vehicles parked nearby. Four to five vehicles got damaged in the incident. However, no one was injured.

Mumbai Fire Brigade and Police team are present at the spot of the incident and carrying out rescue operation.

Earlier in the day, another alarming incident took place where a fire broke out in a cloth godown located at LBS Marg in Kurla (West). The blaze started around 04:03 am on Friday, October 28 and by 8.27am, fire was covered from all sides. The damage is yet to assessed. No casualties were reported so far.
