The Railway administration has ordered an inquiry after a video went viral on social media. In the video, an individual can be seen making lemonade from undrinkable water. This is not the first time that there has been a complaint raised regarding the food provided by the railway.
The railway canteen is set between platform number seven and eight at Kurla railway station. With the rising heat in Mumbai, the commuters prefer lime juice for consumption. However, in the video, a man can be seen making the lemonade with the water which is unhygienic and is used for washing utensils.
The railway administration has ordered an inquiry into the matter which has compromised with the health of the people. This happened after the video went viral on social media with people tagging the concerned authorities.

Central Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer Sunil Sadasi informed that the canteen will be examined by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
