In recent developments, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) shared that it is to auction 203 plots in several areas of Navi Mumbai.
This happens to be a part of CIDCO’s three schemes which is to enable people to build their homes and permit developers to construct residential-cum-commercial buildings. Moreover, of the 203, while 12 plots have been made available in Kharghar, Kalamboli and New Panvel (E) under the first scheme; 182 plots have been made available in Airoli, Ghansoli, Kharghar, Kalamboli and Panvel under the second scheme.
On the other hand, the officials of CIDCO recently shared some good news for those who wish to make their dream of purchasing a new home. Officials have stated that this could soon come true as a bumper lottery of nearly 89,000 homes will be drawn for houses in Navi Mumbai and Panvel.
This information was shared by CIDCO MD Sanjay Mukherjee and is expected to benefit many citizens from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and nearby areas.
In 2018-19, CIDCO had also drawn lottery for more than 14,000 houses under Mahagrihanirman Yojana and the winners of this lottery were allotted houses by Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Reports state that a total of 14,838 houses were allotted as per the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and these were constructed at 11 places in 5 nodes namely Ghansoli, Kharghar, Kalamboli, Taloja and Dronagiri in Navi Mumbai.
