Mumbai – The officers of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) inspected Siddharth Colony area in M West Ward in Chembur after receiving complaints regarding spread of dengue disease in the locality. It is to be noted here that two persons from the locality, Geet Pawar (30) and Vedant Kamble (9), have died of dengue in last 15 days. Local residents had registered their complaints many times but those were neglected. This had forced residents to warn the civic administration of severe protest. Finally, civic officials visited the area on Saturday and assured people to take necessary action to check the spread of dengue here.
