Mumbai- Lease property rental renewal policy has been passed in BMC development committee . This policy includes Mahalaxmi race course as well, Shiv Sena chief Udhav Thackeray wants to bud theme park on race course . so it is likely that Shiv Sena will oppose this policy in BMC house while chances are dim that BJP will support it . More than 4000 plots are given on lease of 10 years to 999 years . Many of the lease agreements are now expired but still these plots are been used by the lease owners .Frequent reminders sent by BMC have fallen on deaf ears. Some of the plots belong to state government so its approval was awaited too .When this renewal policy came for approval in development committee Shiv Sena members did not react for which they got trashing from their chief Udhav Thackeray . Now it is believed that when this policy will be presented in BMC house Shiv Sena is going to oppose it . But it wont receive any support from BJP it seems .
