Govandi - Open gutter has been a problem for the pedestrians. This is the area in front of M/Ward BMC office. There is no cover on the gutter which is troubling pedestrians. Resident Abdul Sheikh told Mumbai Live," gutter covers are missing from the area, bmc was to cover the gutter which is adjacent to the slaughterhouse. Students on daily basis take this route while coming from Deonar slaughterhouse towards the police station. 'BMC workers must cover the gutter at earliest,' said Sheikh.
