The road from Bokadvira police post to Uran Kotnaka has been closed for the repair work of the piers. However, many two-wheeler, four-wheeler and rickshaw drivers are making a dangerous journey by clearing the blocked road to travel to and from a small road that is partially available in the same place.
Both the gates at Uran railway station and Anandi Hotel on the important Uran-Panvel route have been damaged. Their repair work has started. For this, the Public Works Department has closed the road from Bokadvira flyover, and a pile of soil has been made for it. As this route passes through Uran railway station, dirt piles have been removed and the two-wheeler riders are traveling on this route.
However, the railway and public works department is frequently closing this route. But again and again this route was thrown open to the public. For this, the alternative route from Bokadvira to New Shewa flyover to Uran is being used instead. But this route is being closed continuously. On the other hand, the Navi Mumbai SEZ Marg is full of potholes, gravel and dust, making the bike riders a dangerous journey.
