Constitution Week to be observed in the state between November 26 and December 2

As a part of the celebrations for Constitution Week, the major events will be held at Mumbai and Nagpur between November 26 to December 2. The government also plans to involve government schools, semi-government schools along with colleges throughout the week

The state government is all set to celebrate ‘Constitution Week’ this year November 26 onwards. The celebrations will be majorly held at Mumbai and Nagpur where all the government, non-government, semi-government organisations will participate. In the recently held review meeting of the Cabinet, Rajkumar Badole stated that colleges, as well as primary and secondary schools, will also be participating.

Along with this, all the government schools, institutions, non-government organisations have been asked to start up new programs between November 26 and December 2 as a part of the ‘Constitution Week’ celebrations.

Meanwhile, the week will also witness the inauguration of the Dadasaheb Gaikwad Sabalikaran & Swabhiman Yojana, under which, the people from Scheduled Caste (SC) who are below poverty line and are landless, will be provided with land. In addition, the beneficiaries of various corporations will be provided loan disbursements and other important activities will also be conducted throughout the week.

More importantly, Badole has directed all the district social welfare offices and district information offices to organise a discussion session and a special publicity campaign in their respective districts.
