Advanced Locality Management (ALM) was instituted to make Mumbai clean and green. Resident Kunti Ojha in alliance with Clean Mumbai Foundation and ALM has taken the step to make the premises clean.
Nariman Point is the business hub of Mumbai. Most of the government offices are also located in the area.
A machine is set up in Mittal Chambers, Nariman Point which converts the wet waste into manure. There are 8 prominent buildings located in the area.
Every month around 3lakh 25 thousand metric tonnes of waste is collected.
Floating population is the main cause of the waste accumulation. A -Ward offices are working hard and walking hand in hand with ALM volunteers to make the ward cleaner and greener.
