Deonar - Residents of Deonar village have launched an indefinite fast from 9 am on Wednesday to protest the delay in resolution of their water and power supply problems. Near Deonar village there is a private land constituting 50 shanties, and the residents claim they are deprived of fundamental problems such as water supply and power. Residents say they had reported the matter to local corporator Dinesh Panchal. who is now leading the agitation after his meetings with authorities concerned and developers did not bear fruit.
