The Maharashtra government had earlier decided to impose a curfew from April 14 to break the chain of coronavirus infections due to which strict restrictions were imposed, including district bans. However, despite the strict restrictions, the coronavirus infection continued to spread as the crowds did not stop gathering. As a result, 50,000 to 60,000 fresh cases of coronavirus are being diagnosed every day.
Maharashtra along with Mumbai, have been among the most affected, with the health infrastructure at its bare-bones, access to resources and vital information is proving to be critical. In an attempt to put all the crucial information together, at Mumbai Live, we are creating a page each, dedicated to COVID-19 sources for your ward.
Each of these pages will have important information like doctors in the ward who are teleconsulting, hospitals/COVID Jumbo facilities, contact details of pharmacies/medicine shops that are open 24x7 or are delivering at home, important numbers with regards to food and grocery details in your ward, oxygen cylinder or suppliers details, RT-PCR and blood testing facility and more.
We will attempt to ensure the information on these pages is kept as recent and constant as possible, however, in these testing times where things are changing by the second, we urge you to act responsibly and double-check before committing anything.
BMC's Ward S includes Bhandup, Nahur, Vikhroli, Powai and Kanjurmarg areas of Mumbai.
Please note that if facilities are not available in your ward or help is not available, check your nearest ward information. Click on the link of the respective ward to get this information.
