Ganeshotsav 2021: CR announces half day functioning of Reservation Centres today

the Central Railway (CR) has decided to run 63 more additional special trains to cater to the extra rush of passengers towards the Konkan area. This is in addition to 112 special trains already announced to run during the Ganpati festival 2021.

On account of Ganesh Chaturthi, the Computerized Reservation Centres (PRS Centres) of Central Railway will remain closed in the second shift, i.e. from 2 pm to 10 pm on September 10, 2021. 

However, few counters will remain open in each division for emergency working for the convenience of the passengers.

Ahead of the festival, the CR resumed several passenger trains to Konkan this year.

Meanwhile, the Central Railway (CR) has decided to run 63 more additional special trains to cater to the extra rush of passengers towards the Konkan area. This is in addition to 112 special trains already announced to run during the Ganpati festival 2021.

Central Railway (CR) has decided to run a one-way Special train from Mumbai to Kolhapur to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Ganpati Festival.

Waitlisted passengers are requested to check the status of their waitlist tickets before boarding the train due to this augmentation.

Only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board this special train adhering to all norms, SOPs related to COVID19 during the boarding, travel and at the destination.
