Central Railway has decided to temporarily augment 01003/01004 Dadar-Sawantwadi Road-Dadar special train with One AC 3-Tier coach, Three Sleeper coaches and One second Seating coach with effect from September 4, 2021, to September 25, 2021, to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganapati Festival.
Waitlisted passengers are requested to check the status of their waitlist tickets before boarding the train due to this augmentation.

Only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board this special train adhering to all norms, SOPs related to COVID19 during the boarding, travel and at the destination.
Meanwhile, it has come to light that amid a rise in coronavirus cases since the last few days, the Maharashtra government and local bodies have imposed travel curbs on those visiting these two districts of Konkan -- Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg.
The decision comes as the possible third wave could hit the state by October. Moreover, as travel curbs have been eased, a sizeable number from Mumbai, Thane and Pune is expected to travel to their native towns and villages in these Konkan districts for the 10-day Ganpati festival.
