A Travelling Ticket Inspector (TTI) of Central Railway (CR) has crossed the Rs 1 crore mark in ticket-checking earnings for the financial year 2025-26, becoming the first official in the Mumbai Division to achieve the milestone.
Mohammed Shams Chand, Travelling Ticketing Inspector, Open Detail Batch, Mumbai Division crossed the 1 Crore mark in Ticket checking earnings for the FY 2025-26.
Md.Shams registered ticket checking earnings of Rs 1,00,38,505 through detection of 11,483 cases for the FY 2025-26 (from 01.04.2025 to 15.03.2026) becoming the 1st Ticket Checking personnel of Mumbai Division to achieve this milestone for the current FY.
His dedication and outstanding performance are truly commendable and have contributed in saving a significant amount of revenue loss to the Railways. His achievements have truly enhanced the reputation of Ticket checking fraternity and has set an inspiring benchmark for others to follow.
CR appeals to passengers to please travel with valid tickets issued by authorised vendors or from railway station booking counters or through ATVM or through website http://www.irctc.co.in.
