Central Railway (CR) will operate mega block on its suburban sections – main line and harbor line, for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday, May 23, 2021. While, the Western Railway (WR) will operate a night block on its suburban sections to carry out maintenance work on Sunday.

Main Line

Byculla – Matunga Up and Dn Fast Lines from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm

 Down fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 10.49 am to 3.48 pm will be diverted on Dn slow line between Byculla and Matunga halting as per their respective scheduled halts and further re-diverted on Down fast line at Matunga and will arrive destination 15 minutes beyond schedule.

Up fast line services leaving Kurla from 11.06 am to 3.57 pm will be diverted on Up slow line between Matunga and Byculla, halting as per their respective scheduled halts and further re-diverted on Up fast line at Byculla and will arrive destination 15 minutes beyond schedule.

Harbour Line

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti / Bandra Dn Harbour line from 11.40 am to 4.40 pm & Chunabhatti / Bandra- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up Harbour line from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm

 Down Harbour line services to Vashi /Belapur/Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai / Wadala Road from 11.34 am to 4.47 pm and Down Harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 09.56 am to 4.43 pm will remain suspended.

Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and

Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Goregaon/ Bandra from 10.45 am to 4.58 pm will remain suspended.

However, Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during block period.

Western Railway 

There will be no Day Block this Sunday on Western Railway. However, the four-hour night block will be between Vasai Road and Bhayandar Stations.

In order to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a jumbo block will take place on up slow and down fast lines between Vasai Road and Bhayandar stations in the intervening night of Saturday/Sunday from 12.30 am to 4.30 am on Sunday.

According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, some of the up and down Slow line trains will be cancelled. The details of the cancellations will be available with the concerned station master’s office.
