Goregaon west - Stacked up debris outside the BMC's P/North ward office has become a cause for concern. Unauthorised shops in the area are being demolished, but the debris continues to clog the area. Says Supervision Department Officer Amit Patil, "If the debris is removed, the encroachment will start again." Is that a sound strategy to deter encroachments, we wonder?
