Dharavi – The frustrated residents of Dharavi West finally finished the reason of their problems and that also in a very unique way. As per information, local residents were frustrated due to regular mishaps taking place on Dharavi Dhobighat foot over bridge (FoB). Social worker N R Paul took an initiative to get this bridge repaired through public donations. The half work on this bridge is over and the remaining work is fast progressing. Local residents had registered their complaints to civic authorities, railway officers and even local public representatives but in vain. The rising incidents of falling from stairs, broken railings and eroded staircases had posed problems for the residents. The neglect of this bridge by authorities forced the residents to collect money themselves.
