According to the latest report, diesel prices shoot an all-time high as it crossed INR 99 per litre in Mumbai after a hike today, October 6. It is being sold at INR 99.17 a litre.
Meanwhile, diesel might soon touch INR 100 a litre in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), that is in Thane and Navi Mumbai. Following today’s hike, a litre of diesel was priced at INR 99.31 in Thane.
Moreover, there are some major cities in the state where diesel prices have crossed INR 100 per litre.
Besides, it has come to light that Diesel is the costliest in the state at Amravati, which is available at INR 100.72 a litre.
In Maharashtra’s Parbhani, a litre of petrol was being sold at INR 111.52, which is the costliest across the state.
Petrol prices also went up, costing INR 108.67 per litre in Mumbai, and INR 108.81 in Thane and Navi Mumbai on Tuesday, October 5. However, after a hike on the second consecutive day, a litre of petrol was available at INR 109.10 and a litre of diesel was priced at INR 99.31 in Thane.
It went up to INR 103.65 per litre in Kolkata and INR 100.49 per litre in Chennai. Meanwhile, petrol is being sold at INR 102.94 per litre in the national capital, Delhi and diesel cost 91.42 per litre.
Diesel is retailing at INR 94.53 per litre in Kolkata and INR 95.93 per litre in Chennai.
