Amidst the scorching heat in the middle of summer, there were light drizzles in Malad, Bhayander, Borivli, Jogeshwari and Andheri in western suburbs and Thane, Kalyan and Ambernath in the central suburbs.

According to The Weather Channel, this trend may continue on Monday, April 15, with the weather bureau predicting rain and thundershowers in Mumbai and Thane. However, it is going to be a wet day for the state as a whole. Pune, Nasik, Kolhapur and other parts of Maharashtra may also experience thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds on Monday and Tuesday.
According to information received from the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain cloudy in the next 24 hours and there will be light showers on Monday evening. Also, in the areas of Central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha, the weather department predicted storms accompanied by strong storm winds.
