Dharavi – The civil committee of the BMC has taken an initiative to make Dharavi garbage-free. The residents were distributed 10,000 dustbins and 200 wheel containers were given to the societies at the behest of committee president Rajendra Suryawanshi. The women from the area were given invitations to participate in this programme so that they actively participate in this drive. Suryawanshi appealed people to take efforts in this regard. Shiv Sena office-bearers Muttu Tevar, Anil Doifode, Vasant Nakashe, Anand Bhosale, Kavita Bhagne and others were present on this occasion.
