Amid the news of increasing cases of Coronavirus in both Mumbai and Maharashtra, BMC has taken to Twitter to share a piece of good news. As per recent updates, eight coronavirus positive patients have been discharged from Mumbai's Kasturba Hospital.

The message shared by BMC read, "The happiest moment for all of us at @mybmc and Kasturba Hospital.  2 of our once Corona +ve, recovered fully now, tested -ve twice consecutively. 8 are going home today."

While BMC said '#GoodbyesAreGoodToo',  Aditya Thackeray also called this 'A Good News,' and this stands true as the state is under lockdown until March 31, 2020, as per CM Uddhav Thackeray's order.

As of March 24, 2020, Maharashtra has a total of 110 coronavirus positive cases, and people in several parts of the state are still not following the norms imposed by the government. There are some more citizens seen on the streets without a reason, and Mumbai Police is taking measures to control the same. Compelled to take the action, CM-Uddhav Thackeray called an immediate curfew in the state, by also shutting down the local trains and buses in Mumbai. While the entire country is asked to stay at home, one can leave only if necessary. Nothing except the essential services will be available and this will be observed until March 31, 2020. Besides this, the government has sealed the state and district borders to stop the spread of COVID19.

Currently, Maharashtra has the highest number of cases in the country and the state government officials are arranging for more medical facilities to ensure necessary action is taken on time. Samples are being tested at multiple testing centres in the city and if found positive, patients are being sent to Kasturba Hospital for treatment.
