One dies in a level III fire incident which was reported at Kothare House in Girgaon on Sunday evening. The fire has been brought under control. According to preliminary reports, fire was caused due to a short-circuit.
The officials confirmed that the incident was reported at 6:09 PM and the fire was declared Level III at 6:32 PM. It confined to the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. The wooden staircase of the structure was burnt and collapsed.
It is also said that three people are still trapped in the fire. A search operation is in progress.
