Fire Breaks Out In Malad's Godown

The fire broke out at 8:02 pm on Tuesday, November 5. No casualties have been reported so far but the cause of the fire is yet to be known.

A fire broke out in Malad in Parmar Industrial Estate in Maledarwadi, Kachpoada. It was a 3-storey building and the Fire Brigades had rushed to the spot as soon as they received the information.  The fire was confined to a closed godown stocking plastic. Eight fire engines and seven water tanks were rushed to the spot in order to control the fire.

The fire broke out at 8:02 pm on Tuesday, November 5. No casualties have been reported so far and the cause of the fire is yet to be known. The Fire Brigade has classified it as a 'Level 3' fire. 

The fire incidences in Mumbai has witnessed a rise with over four fire incidences in this month. On October 14, a 22-storey building in the Andheri caught fire and three people were stranded on the 11th floor which was then evacuated by the firemen. The main cause of all the fires has been short circuit.
