In recent developments, a major fire has been reported in Navi Mumbai at a chemical factory in Taloja area.
According to reports, fire tenders have rushed to the spot. The incident took place around 12 pm at a chemical company as it spread to other places gradually. As per the locals, blasts were heard from the chemical factory as soon as the fire broke out.
Moreover, massive clouds of grey smoke were reported in the area due to the fire. In addition, several fire engines and water tankers have rushed to the spot in order to douse the fire. However, no injuries have been reported so far.
Meanwhile, the exact reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained by the authorities.
