A fire broke out on Thursday morning in the multi-storey J. N. S. Business Center building on S. V. Road in Jogeshwari (West). The blaze started around 10:45 a.m., and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Fire Brigade immediately rushed to the spot to begin firefighting operations.
As the intensity of the fire increased, officials upgraded it to a Level 2 fire. According to the BMC’s Emergency Department, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
Firefighters are working continuously to bring the blaze under control. Teams from the fire brigade, police, 108 ambulance service, Public Works Department (PWD), BMC, and the electricity distribution company are present at the site. No injuries have been reported so far.
