A fire broke out at Parel’s 15-story Crystal Tower around 7:45 am on Wednesday. Eight firefighters have reached the spot and are trying their best to douse the fire. People are feared to be trapped in the tower. Meanwhile, firefighters successfully rescued 10-15 people.

Eight people who were admitted to KEM Hospital after complaints of suffocation are now stable and out of danger informed Dr. Bangar.
It is believed that 17 residents reside in the building. Around 7:45 am, the fire broke out on the 12th floor of the tower. However, in no time, the fire intensified. Currently, eight firefighters, water tanker, and four ambulances are on the spot.
Four people have died and 12 people have been reported as injured in the incident.
