According to latest reports, a Level-2 fire broke out in a residential building in South Mumbai area on Wednesday afternoon, March 22.

The incident occurred on the third floor of Vitthal Niwas, which is G+4 structure. The building is located near the Jacob Circle, Saat Rasta, Byculla (W).
As soon as the incident was reported, three firefighting engines, 3 Jumbo Tankers, 1 Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP) reached the site, said the officials. The efforts were on to control the blaze. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, no injuries have been reported so far.
