According to the latest reports, part of a ground plus five storey building collapsed at Kalbadevi, however, it is believed that many were evacuated before the fire brigade arrived. Moreover, some allege that the building was possibly vacated by the MHADA earlier.
Based on accounts, so far no casualties have been reported. It has been reported that the west side section of the building in Mumbai's Kalbadevi collapsed during repair works.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated that an incident of house collapse was reported at Badam Wadi, Kalbadevi, Mumbai today. However, no injuries or casualties were reported.
