From Mumbai, the number of flights for Haj pilgrims have been increased. Of 17 flights scheduled earlier for Haj pilgrims, the number rose to 51. Trainer of Haj Committee Gwalior, Haji Abdul Haq, informed that the flights which were scheduled between July 29 to August 4 from Mumbai, will not depart from August 12.

Haq further said that the passengers will be informed about their flights and dates of travel through SMS on their phones. The passenger traffic travelling for Haj from Mumbai will be more because of the fall in price by ₹30,000. Almost 3,500 passengers from Madhya Pradesh will leave for Haj via Mumbai and only one flight along with 268 passengers will depart from Bhopal.

In Mecca, the arrangments for 12 thousand pilgrims have been made for their stay. However, 30 thousand passengers have booked their tickets in the Green category. Thus, the committee has decided to shift 18 thousand passengers to Aziziya in Libya.
