Mumbai - After MPs and MLAs now ex-corporators will also get to commute cost-free by BEST. Shiv Sena member Miraj shaikh proposed this and Samajwadi party seconded this proposal so mayor Snehal Ambekar passed this proposal. though BJP is against this decision. BJP leader objected to decision asking how many corporators commute by bus in first place.Congress corporator Noshir Mehta said that Best is not financially strong enough to allot any more free passes .While SP corporator demanded that BMC should pay for these passes and Shiv Sena corporator Miraj Shaikh informed that there are corporators who choose to commute by Best.
